It’s reported that the next generation Maserati Quattroporte will be offered with a Ferrari-built V8 turbo and Supercharged V6. Normally, we could have expected a new Quattroporte to arrive by now, but with everything in the mix after Chrysler and Fiat became one, the exact future of the Quattroporte was in flux.
Mercedes-Benz is adding a fire-breathing AMG variant of the GL sport-utility vehicle for the first time for 2013. The people hauler will pack a biturbo 5.5-liter V8 rated at 550 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. Code-named M157, it's capable of propelling the ute to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds en route to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
Dongfeng Aeolus A60 is set to go on sale in the Chinese market this month for the first time. The car, which uses the platform of the Dongfeng Nissan Bluebird Sylphy, features large headlamps that flank the chrome-topped front grille, creating a DRG reminiscent of its predecessor, the Aeolus A30 as well as some European and American sedans. A rising beltline runs from front to rear, lengthening the appearance of the car and addin a more dynamic character to waht is a very conventinal three-box sedan.
